Great-Grandpa

Did you know that my great-grandfather is 103 years old? Yes, my great-grandfather is over 100. He is really sweet and a funny person. He has difficulty to hear others but he is still being conscious. He cannot see so well anymore but you can talk to him because he will answer you effectively. My family and I celebrate his birthday, he loves to dance and that’s the only day he can drink a glass of whisky and he can get a cigar. His birthdays are the best. All the family comes to share with him. That day you can see relatives you haven't seen for a while. That day, you can see how people has changed, how big the kids are. That day, your aunts and uncles let you know if you have gotten fat or you have lost weight. My dad makes me dance with him, because he is not a good dancer and he doesn’t like to dance with my mom’s sisters. My grandpa’s brother loves to play the piano. He divided women from men and makes us sing. Then he starts playing music to dance and everybody jumps on to the dance floor. My great-grandpa is not dancing anymore but he is at the table smiling all the time. He says he enjoys watching all of us together. Everybody wants to take a picture with him. Everybody is around him hugging him, talking to him or just being with him. The doctor says that’s the best medicine he has, it makes his heart happy. That’s why he is strong, and really wise as well. He loves to tell anecdotes; my favorite is when he relates about how he kidnapped my great-grandma. May be, he doesn’t pronounce the words so clear anymore, but his laugh is amazing. His laugh is like a 6 year old kid. My grandpa doesn’t like this too much; he says he is not in an age to be playing around anymore; however, you can see him in a corner laughing by himself, because he knows he is lucky to still having his dad next ho him. This is the fist year I am not going spend the big party with my family and I am sad. However, I am happy to know the rest of my family will be there with him having fun and making him happy.
